From the Pastor at FTPC

Hello!

I’ll just say from the outset, I don’t know who’s reading this or your familiarity with the church, so I’ll presume nothing.

Foster Tukwila Presbyterian Church is a community of believers. We are a collection of people, from different walks of life, different levels of physical and spiritual maturity, with varied interests who see (and treat) one another as family. This community is centered on the person of Jesus Christ, who lived, died, and rose again. This reality completely changed the universe, allowing us a way to escape the corruption, betrayal and wrong that otherwise had hold of us. In Jesus Christ, we have a new life of love and light. We are (and are becoming) ambassadors to Christ in the world, reflecting the glory of God wherever we are planted. FTPC is a church founded on the revelation of God as seen in Scriptures. The Bible is authoritative in our lives, able to teach, rebuke, correct and train each member of the church and the church as a whole.

I am ecstatic to take place as FTPC’s new pastor! I am honored by the trust and love shown in the congregation and rejoice in God’s greatness bringing me to this place. I have worked to be here since I was six years old and am amazed at how God paved the road. This church was blessed to have been allowed to thrive under the leadership of two outstanding men of God for the past 40 years and I cherish that legacy.

If you are reading this and are already part of the FTPC family, thank you! If you are reading this and you are just checking us out, welcome! We’d be delighted to meet you. And if you are somewhere between part of the family and visitor, you’re welcome as well!

Blessings,

Pastor Aaron McGruder
