What We OfferCaring Hearts ...serve one another in love... We enjoy teaching and activities for all ages. We support a variety of Christian ministries (prayerfully, actively, financially) at the local, national and world wide levels. Our Philosophy of Ministry guides our activities. LibraryOur library provides literature for all ages to study many aspects of Christian living and just plain reading enjoyment. The library also contains cassettes, video tapes and DVD's. NurseryWe provide you with nursery care during services so that your mind can be at ease while you worship and participate in various church activities. The infant and Toddler nurseries are located on the lower level. YouthClasses are provided and geared towards each age group - from pre-school through high school. Senior and Junior High youth meet at 8:30 AM on Sunday. Junior and Senior High youth meet Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM for study and activities. Elementary children attend AWANA at Boulevard Park Presbyterian Church on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM. Throughout the year the secondary kids have retreats and other projects. The Senior High spend time preparing and raising funds for their annual summer mission trip. A week of Vacation Bible School is provided each summer. Adult EducationTeaching and Christian fellowship are provided on Sunday at 8:30 AM. Throughout the year there are times and occasions planned for adult fellowship, education and spiritual growth. The Alpha Course, Dunamis Conference and adult retreats - men, women and all adults. Music
Home Care GroupsThese groups meet weekly for Bible study, sharing and support. Men's and Women's GroupsFeature such activities as Bible studies, retreats, monthly circles, service activities, etc.
Retirees LuncheonThe 4th Friday of each month sees the retirees served at the church with no cost to those who attend. Bring a sandwich and everything else is provided. Prayer MinistrySeeking to be faithful to the call to be "a house of prayer for all nations" [Mark 11:17], we are growing more and more in the gift of communicating with our Lord. In addition to prayer teams and intercessory prayer groups, we incorporate prayer into every facet of our church life. This includes making prayer a central part of our worship services. A Healing Prayer Service is held the second Sunday of each month at 6:30 PM. The small classroom upstairs has now been designated and decorated as a "Prayer Room" open during church hours. Prepare the WayAn intercessors group called to pray for the South King County area, FTPC and to 'prepare the way' for God's movement by His Holy Spirit through the hearts and minds of the people. A growing group of local pastors meeting to pray and work together for the Unity of the whole body of Christ in Tukwila. God requires unity of worship from His whole Church. And...Potluck dinners, film series and special events provide further opportunities for Christian growth, fellowship and outreach. |
